Have you ever tried to teach something to someone who had no intention of learning from you? It is one of the most frustrating experiences you will ever have. You can be the best, most successful educator that has ever lived, but you cannot force someone to learn what you are trying to teach them.

Georgia Agape is excited to host our next Foster Parent Information Session! Participants will be provided with information on all things foster care, including requirements to become a foster parent, an overview of the child welfare system in Georgia, information on upcoming IMPACT Pre-Service training and general Q&A. Georgia Agape Inc invites you to Trauma Informed Parenting, a collaboration with Teach One, Reach One Ministries. Learn techniques to foster appropriate behavior in children with histories of trauma. Participants will learn about the impact of trauma on behavior and development in children. Topics will also include behavior management skills, creative discipline techniques, developing a support network, self care and spiritual health. Training collaboration with Thereasa Winnett of Teach One, Reach One Ministries. This training is virtual and will take place on Saturday, 2/26 from 9am - 12pm.
